Hello! my name is Elkmon, I'm an 18 year old furry who likes to paint and code. Most of my Internet presense was of me recording minecraft videos and uploading them to my now dead channel and playing various old games and ROM hacks. It wouldn't be until recently when I would actually try to make something of my own
I enjoy collecting technology before my time, mostly Computers, MP3 players, and Cameras to name a few. I also like finding old merchandise from some of my favorite franchises or games. I don't really read or watch movies as they tend to not intrest me; so if you make a reference to that specific actor, I'll have no clue who you're talking about.
Today I spend most of my free time improving my art and learning new things. I want to learn as many skills and create as many projects as I can during my life.
Other things that I like:
The color right below this text is my favorite color. Green has been my favorite color since I was a kid, It's evolved over time, changing saturation, darkness, until I finally found this shade of green. Maybe "Lime" isn't the best way to describe this shade of green, but I can't think of anything better.
Maybe this ties into me liking green but I've had an obession with yoshi ever since I played SM64DS. I find his design and voice very cute, plus dinosaurs are badass.
I feel like I'm exposing my "Gen-Zness" when I say this but Fruitger Areo is by far one of my favorite aestetics. Ever since I discovered the term "Fruitger Areo" I've felt so relived that I finally found a label for this design trend I've been seeing for years. I would also like to give an honorable mention to "Y2K" (not the hot pink one that always seems to drown out what I'm looking for, I'm talking about the chrome and sliver blueish one.) So many interesting shapes and colors, it just feels so sleek and nice
Whether it's glass, metal, or something else, I love Anything reflective or shiny, especially when they're painted or drawn. I've been trying to incoperate this aspect into my art as I just love how various surfaces can distort and warp light and shapes. Plus it helps define the 3D space. This facination has also gotten me interested in the field of glass art, but I don't have anywhere near the tools or money to persue such a thing yet.
